Shana and Cedric are the perfect example of how opposites attract. Shana is the outspoken and dominant one, while Cedric is laid-back and quiet, yet together they’ve built a relationship filled with laughter, faith, and deep connection. Whether they’re indulging in their love of food, napping together (which absolutely counts!), or taking their two dogs on walks, they know how to enjoy life by simply being with each other. Their love story might look effortless now, but it took a unique start—and a little Snap Chat flirting—before things really fell into place.
The two first connected over Snap Chat a couple of years ago. They exchanged numbers, with Shana saving Cedric’s contact as “Potential,” but the timing wasn’t right as they were both in other relationships. By June 2024, though, both were single, and that’s when their story truly began. After reconnecting, Shana boldly invited herself on Cedric’s Chicago birthday trip, where they met in person for the first time. The chemistry was undeniable. Shortly after, Cedric brought Shana home to NC, to meet his family, and that’s when Shana knew Cedric was the one. Fast forward, and Cedric made the huge decision to move to Dallas, leaving behind a 17-year barbering career. They knew if they were going to live together, they wanted to do it right, under God’s covenant, so they got engaged, and it’s been a whirlwind ever since.
As they prepare for their big day at Westside Baptist Church, Shana and Cedric are excited for a wedding photoshoot that reflects their unique personalities.
